HHK/SR Softball is a program available to all girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. The program focuses on teaching skill development, rules of the game, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The program is always done within a fun environment and moves into an increasingly competitve environment as the girls move up through the program. Uniforms consisting of a T-Shirt, visor and socks are provided for all girls. All players should have a softball glove. Softball spikes are recommended but not required. Like all HHK/SR programs, parental volunteers are needed to coach.
Games and practices are held mainly on weekdays beginning in early April and running through early June, with games being played against other HHK/SR teams as well as teams from nearby towns (Allendale, Ridgewood, Upper Saddle River, Waldwick).
